HISTORIC BEND KITCHEN ADDITION
Completed in 2018, this addition and remodel of a 1927 Tudor-style home consisted of removing interior walls to create an open plan and adding a new kitchen. The original floor plan was cramped with no dining room, and the kitchen was small and closed off. A new kitchen addition with a curved roof over the kitchen creates an airy space and reflects the curves of the original dormer roofs. A new dining area is located in the former kitchen, open to both the kitchen and living room. A covered porch and French doors were added to one end of the kitchen to provide access to/from the detached garage. A drop off area with a bench, hooks and a closet are integrated into the matte white cabinetry with walnut shelving.
